Terms of Use

These terms govern use of Transylvania County Court Docket. Using the site, reading its materials, or opening a search tool means accepting these conditions. A visitor who does not accept them should not use the service.

NO FCRA USE. This privately operated site is unaffiliated with a government agency or court and is not a consumer reporting agency. It and its advertising partners are not offered for any use regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, including credit, employment, tenant, insurance, or other screening decisions.

1. What This Website Is

Transylvania County Court Docket is a private reference resource. It does not maintain official dockets or court files, perform clerk services, set court dates, or file documents. It identifies official North Carolina court, Portal, and clerk routes for public information.

2. Informational Use Only

Site content is general information, not an official court record, a court order, or professional advice. North Carolina court-file access is governed in part by the clerk's recordkeeping and inspection duty under N.C. Gen. Stat. § 7A-109 and the state inspection-and-copying rule in N.C. Gen. Stat. § 132-6, subject to court-specific restrictions. A material detail should be checked with the Transylvania Clerk of Superior Court or the court that holds the case.

3. Rules for Using This Site

Users agree not to misuse the service or information reached through it.

  • Comply with applicable federal, North Carolina, and local law.
  • Do not stalk, harass, threaten, or otherwise harm another person.
  • Do not use the site for a FCRA-regulated decision.
  • Do not seek unauthorized access to systems or records.
  • Do not run automated scraping or disruptive tools against the service.
  • Do not interfere with another visitor's use of the site.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

The site does not provide consumer reports, credit reports, or background-screening reports and is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. Users may not use site information or a linked tool for a decision about credit, employment, housing, insurance, licensing, benefits, or another FCRA-regulated purpose.

5. No Legal Advice

Nothing on the site is legal advice. A visitor seeking advice on a charge, filing, court order, deadline, or pending case should consult a licensed North Carolina attorney.

6. Accuracy Is Not Guaranteed

Information is supplied as is and may change without notice. Court calendars, public Portal results, fees, court procedures, and third-party results can be incomplete, delayed, unavailable, or wrong. An official record or current setting must be verified with the court or clerk.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

External portals, government pages, search providers, and other linked services are controlled by their own operators. The site does not control their content, availability, charges, security, data practices, or results.

8. Intellectual Property

Site text, graphics, logos, and code are owned by Transylvania County Court Docket or its content partners. They may not be copied, distributed, modified, or used to create derivative work without written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site is not liable for damages arising from use of the site, its content, or an external linked service.

10. Indemnification

A user agrees to indemnify and hold the site harmless from claims, demands, losses, and reasonable legal costs arising from the user's use of the service or violation of these terms.

11. Governing Law

North Carolina law governs these terms. A dispute related to site use must be brought in a court located in North Carolina, subject to applicable jurisdictional rules.

12. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be revised at any time. A revised version takes effect when posted on this page.
